Is the news stressing you out? It's okay to take a break.
Not only is there no predicting the future, there is no knowing the present.
Each friend I talk to has a different experience of what's going on right now. Information in the news is confusing and contradictory. There are so many factors to consider. So many things could change the outcome dramatically. Preliminary data is preliminary data, so we don't know what's really going on in our own cities, never mind in cities around the world.
Most of us don't have access to the level of information required to truly understand what the situation is in the world right now.
But the thing is, we don't have to understand what is happening. We only have to decide what we will do right now and today and maybe tomorrow.
In this age where we solve cold cases as digital sleuths, it's okay to leave the data analysis to the experts.
It's okay to turn off the news and focus on what's within your power to change.
