Speaking your truth
My goal is to create a space where you're free to be fully honest about your experience providing care.
Providing care is such an intensely personal experience. It touches on so many of our core values.
That's why it's so incredible to see your own experiences reflected in someone else's words. And why it can be so difficult to come across someone who's perspective clashes with yours.
You're always welcome to talk about your own experience. That includes any aspect of your own experience.
We don't judge people and we don't tell them what to do. Maybe someone else has made a very different decision in a similar situation -- but each of us chooses the path that's right for us. Each situation, no matter how similar, is different.
The groups are a great place to go for advice. If someone is asking for advice and you have some to share, we are grateful for it.
Sometimes people are just sharing what they're going through. It can be tough to read responses that aren't validating of the choice the original poster has made, but you're welcome to respectfully share your experience in response to theirs. There is no one right decision except for the decision that's right for you in this moment.
