Accepting a new future 💭
Hi ,
This week I've been thinking a lot about how we learn to accept a new future. Sure, we know that we can't predict or plan the future, but we all have ideas about what the future will be like.
Sometimes we don't even realize we had expectations and dreams until they're shattered.
Carol shared what it was like to have to replace her retirement plans with caring for her father.
The Perfect Servant wrote about the process of shapeshifting from wife to caregiver after her husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's.
Kristen looks back on 3 years of caring for her husband after his spinal injury.
Rachel is caring for her undiagnosed mom while knowing her young son may never get to know his grandmother.
