💪 Fighting for care and celebrating the beautiful moments 💗 💖 💗
Hi ,
This week I was moved by a story of a young caregiver who has now become disabled herself. I think a lot of us can relate to the frustration of unexplained medical issues and the fear that we can't take care of someone else if we require care ourselves.
The power of music on people with dementia is just incredible. It's nice to have a reminder that it's possible to build a meaningful relationship with someone who has dementia.
Have you heard of PANDAS? A mother shares the story of her child's dramatic illness and how she fought to get him the care he needed.
Caregiving can be a difficult road -- I don't need to tell you that -- but here's a sweet video to remind us of all the beautiful moments. We have lots of beautiful moments on our Instagram account, too!
If you're providing care for someone with MS, someone with mental health issues, or a veteran, you should check out MyCounterpane, it's an amazing resource.
Best,
