We're here for you - online, 24/7
Greetings ,
Time well spent.. is time spent connecting. That's one lesson from a recent Facebook post to our Caregiver Space Facebook page, on fighting social isolation (see the link below).
So we know the importance of engaging every one of YOU, whenever and wherever your care-giving happens. From our regular stream of articles on our site, to our exhaustive pouring through of media from all corners of the world wide web, we have you in mind. (Go ahead, click the links above, or the highlights from the past week which follow below.)
We also realize that many of YOU don't have alot of time on your hands.. it's the raison d'ĂȘtre for our Instagram stream. Our "Care Cards" are designed to speak your mind, focus your feelings, and inspire your daily work. We're hoping this can be a place for you to drop in when you might have only a moment to get charged by the power of positivity.
When you're feeling more expansive with a bit more time to share, come to our site to make new friends - post your own story on any of our set Forums, or reply to one of your fellow caregiver's stories and posts. Go ahead, connect with your fellow caregivers, and share the wealth of your experiences.
Moving forward in the spirit of caregiving,,

What I Didnât Expect to Feel as a Full-Time Caregiver
When my son was diagnosed with late-stage neurological Lyme disease three years ago, my family decided it would be best if I left my position as a yoga teacher/therapist in private practice and become a full-time caregiver. This was to give him the best quality of life and chance at remission, as there is no cure for late-stage Lyme, and it can be life-threatening if it progresses without appropriate treatment.
