We're here for you - online, 24/7
Hi ,
It's National Family Caregivers Month! A month to celebrate and raise awareness for the work we do every day... 24/7/365.
Join the festivities as you're able: start by taking in President Obama's Proclamation. Back at TheCaregiverSpace.org we've got our usual stream of articles, tips and tools.
Then on Thursday, November 12th, from 1-2pm ET, we're co-hosting a Tweet Chat with our friends at Caring Across Generations. If you're active on Twitter, just login and join the conversation... If Twitter is electronic Greek to you, follow the link below and you can sit back and watch the conversation in real time.
As the month unfolds, come back to your "home" online... we're posting on Facebook, Instagram as well as Twitter.. And take some time of your own to post in our Forums and connect with your fellow caregivers.
Saluting caregivers across the sea of love,
Family caregiving by the numbers
Providing support for our elderly relatives is an act of love, but that doesn’t change the strain it places on our lives. Providing care to other people means we’re taking away time — to see our friends, to take care of our children, to earn an income, to advance our careers, and to take care of our health.

Happy anniversary, my sweet Annie
Hi sweetie! It’s been five years today since you went away. A thousand questions, and a million tears later I, still don’t understand. You seemingly did everything right. Good diet, always exercising, and working towards good health. What the hell happened?

18 Secrets of People Who Became Their Spouse’s Caregiver
Being the caregiver for your spouse is a job that often comes with its own unique set of challenges. Sometimes it feels like a privilege. Sometimes it feels like the most difficult task on the planet. Sometimes it feels like both of these things, all at once.
The Mighty worked with The Caregiver Space, a nonprofit and community of experienced caregivers, to ask people who’ve been there, or are there, what they wish others could understand about being in this situation. Their answers moved us deeply.
