We're here for you - online, 24/7
Hi ,
Our daily Wake Up Call email has been hugely popular. Many of us love to start the day with stories about how real people keep thriving despite - or because of - challenges.
Because it's so popular, we're going to be merging the Wake Up Call with the Weekly Digest and just sending out one email a week every Monday morning. This way we get to share the best stuff with everyone without filling up your inboxes. We'll continue to post inspirational quotes daily on Instagram, Facebook, and Tumblr.
Sometimes we're too busy to keep up with email. In order to keep from spamming you, if you aren't opening my emails you'll stop getting them. Occasionally I'll be sending things to the full list so people can opt back in. And, of course, you can always unsubscribe at any time to take yourself off the list completely.
We're eager for you to share your story. We're branching out into sharing more poetry and visual art, so please pass the invitation along to anyone you know who might be interested.
As you know, other caregivers are the best sources of advice and support. Find - and give - advice on the forums.
Have a great holiday,
But I am taking care of myself

The unknown and the unpredictable
Sometimes the signs of trouble aren't clear. Sometimes parents resist accepting the help they need.

My son can't tell me what he needs. I may not be qualified to be a parent of someone with autism, but my husband and I are going to do the best we can.
