We're here for you - online, 24/7
Hi ,
I'm excited to announce that we're forming online peer support groups. We really want to form a community - a place where people make meaningful friendships and support each other. Having people meet in small groups each week and really get to know each other is an important step for community building.
Because all of the groups are moderated by volunteers, we're launching them as we get moderators and times set up and not in any sort of priority order. Please let me know if you'd like to serve as a volunteer moderator.
The groups you can sign up for now are:
The groups we're launching next week:
Bereavement Chat
Young Caregivers (18 and under)
Groups we'll be launching in the next few weeks:
Dementia
Spousal Care
Long-term caregiving
Caregiver burnout
We're also charging ahead with creating guides to caregiving resources. You can check out what we've done so far and let us know what other resources caregivers should know about.
Until next week,
