It's time to let go
That thing you've been thinking about all week? Chances are, your thinking has had zero effect. Except maybe to increase your stress level. Your feelings of guilt. Your anger.
Worry (and, might I add, obsessive thinking) is like a rocking chair. It's something to do but gets you nowhere.
So take a moment. Picture the thing that's been weighing on you. Hold it up to the sky, like a balloon swaying with the wind. Let it go. And watch it fly up, up and away...
